My Story

Always Original

Cari England was born in the rolling hills of Appalachia surrounded by wild things. Growing up on a farm gave her an early appreciation for all creatures great and small. From a young age, she entertained herself by drawing on any surface possible. Her preferred canvas was often the walls of her room (to the thrill of her parents), her arms and legs, or the back of her homework. For Cari then and now, life is just a blank slate asking to be drawn on.

Her drive comes from the obstacles she has overcome. Throughout her adolescence, she was often told to mask her true self to make others more comfortable. Learning of her place on the Autism Spectrum was the catalyst she needed to start living her truth. Truth in herself, her values, and her expression. Cari seeks to inspire others to live authentically. She believes if you give into the pressure of dimming your light, that is a true disservice to the world.

Whether as an artist, writer or special effects makeup artist, Cari spends most of her time in the realm of the imaginary. She has ventured through many creative fields over the years, earning a Master Cosmetology license, makeup certifications, SFX certifications, and training in art as a Mastery Program graduate from the Milan Art Institute.
